So why should you hand out teacher superlatives at the end of the year? Well, do you remember back in high school when the superlatives section of your yearbook was the highlight? Everyone votes for the cutest couple, best hair, most friendly, etc. then the top winners get published in the yearbook to be remembered for that forever. It is a fun way to wrap up the year and reflect on the traits of your school community. Let me tell you…teachers like to have this fun as well! Have you ever thought about doing teacher superlatives awards to wrap up your year with your staff? It is a sure-fire way to have teachers laughing their way through that final staff meeting, heading off into their well-deserved summer break, with a strong sense of belonging and community amongst the whole staff.

Teacher Superlatives Ideas
There are a few ways you can set up who wins each teacher’s superlative award. One way would be to set up a Google Form or Survey Monkey where everyone can vote on who they think deserves each award. On both platforms, you can easily make a drop-down list with each staff members’ name and duplicate that for every award. You could also have the leadership team vote and let the whole thing be a surprise until you pass out the awards. However you decide to set it up, teacher superlatives are a great way to wrap up the year or semester.
